CONGRATULATIONS to Jesse and Lois! Their first baby is on the way!
YIPPEE for us! Grandchild #5 is on the way! We can't wait!!! :)

Big Sur!

Jim and I had a weekend camping getaway to Big Sur and had a great time! I especially enjoyed myself as Jim took over as "Camp Chef Extraordinaire" and handled ALL the food duties! His "killer" omelettes were blue ribbon quality once again! On the way we stopped at our favorite "secret" beach:) Our dog, Riley, had a good break from sitting in the car by obsessively retrieving the stick from the ocean...well, she is a Labrador retriever:)

To Karaline, Megan, Zeke and Jake...We tried to include the names of our grandchildren in the sand, but it was too difficult to read, so we settled for "We love U." XOXOXOXO

We did some geocaching while in Big Sur. Here I am in the "danger" zone checking out a clue:)

Zeke is ONE!

A blessing in Omaha

Our newest grandchild, Jake, was blessed in Omaha , and Jim and I were able to be there:) My in-laws(Ann and Dick) also came. They DROVE all the way from California! We FLEW:)
It was so great to spend time with Summer, Brian, Karaline, Megan and Jake! We miss them very much! The kids grow and change so fast! Hopefully one day they can live closer(a lot!) to us:) Our visit there was way too short!

Jake sure is a handsome little fella! Look at those kissable cheeks! Jim met Jake for the first time and I hadn't seen him since he was two weeks old! He's a happy little guy and smiles readily:) His sisters love him and Megan especially loves to pat him on the back and give him kisses:) So cute!
