Hitchin' a Ride:)

Yesterday we went on a hike to...where else? Pt. Sal, of course! We had our grandson for the day/night so that his parents could go to L.A. Jim decided it was time to introduce him to his beloved Pt. Sal:) The 17 month old started out walking/running mostly to keep up with his buddy, Riley the dog. It seemed Zeke thought most anything Riley did was funny because he was laughing out loud at Riley's every move:) After a bit we decided it was time for Zeke to hitch a ride with grandpa to keep us moving towards the top in a timely fashion and before it started to rain!
Zeke loved his water break!
Halfway to the top he conked out! Looks pretty cozy, considering:)
We made it to the top! Zeke playing peek-a-boo behind grandpa's conehead:)

Never Too Late for Love and Child Labor

I wanted to post this yesterday, but procrastinator that I am...It's never too late to send love(mini cupcake style) to the grandchildren! We love you everyday of the year!
I had some fun making cookies, other than hearts, for Valentine's day!
The cupcake cookie was made with a cutter labeled "crown" that I had on hand:) I like the VW "love bug" the best:)
I put Zeke to work one day "helping" me with the dishes:) He loves the bubbles! He's sporting his "manly" surfing apron made by Jesse back in junior high:) Aren't his Crocs cute?

You Get What You Pay For

I wore these BRAND NEW socks today for the FIRST time (on my feet all day at work and on errands after work) and when I took my shoes off this is what I saw:( Holey moley! I bought them at Target and only paid $1.00, but c'mon...they didn't even last ONE day! That turns a frugal pair of socks into an extravagant pair! Good thing I bought two more pairs:)

P.S. Does anyone know how to move the "Live Traffic Feed" to the bottom?
